It collides with stationary balls B and C, whose centers are on a line perpendicular to the initial velocity of ball A and that are initially in contact with one-another. Balls B and C are identical and have the mass of 0.50 kg. After the collision, balls B and C have the similar speed, 4.2 m/s, but ball B moves at an angle of 22 above the horizontal and ball C moves at an angle of 22 below the horizontal.
