Specially vinegars will have different acetic acid concentrations. A student analyzed speciality vinegar by pipetting 10.0mL of the vinegar and diluting it to 100.0mL. This diluted sample was thoroughly mixed then a 25.0mL sample of the diluted vinegar was titrated with 0.1M NaOH. The titration required 35.48mL of the base to reach the endpoint. Explain what is the percent by mass of acetic acid in the specially vinegar?
