The current plant, when expanded, will contain a mix of new equipment and old equipment, new control systems and old control systems, and new people mixed with the older people that have been working for the company for years. As an engineer, and the only individual who has ever taken a course in risk assessment from the University of Regina, you are assigned the task of ensuring that everything will work together (and safely) in the expanded plant. You decide that hazards identification is the first step that must be accomplished. You can't use all the methods covered in class, so you will have to pick one or two of the methods.
