Question: Add water to each dish or plate, just enough to cover the potato slice. One dish should be plain water (you can use tap water or bottled). Add a lot of salt to the other dish of water. Add the salt slowly, making sure it dissolves. Once the salt stops dissolving, you have added enough. Place one potato slice in each dish. After half an hour to an hour, begin your recording. Show what happened to the potato slices.
