We put 5 mL of 0.1 M lead nitrate solution in a test tube , then 5 mL of 0.1 M sodium oxalate , sheked and mixed , (i observed larg amount of percipitate in the test tube and the clear solution is very little), we late the percipitate settle and we decanted the liquid above it . finally we added 5 mL of dilute nitric acid and strred with a rode, I obseved the opposit thing , the percipitate was very small amount but the clear solution is larg amount.
What formula of the percipitate formed? and what do you observe upon the addition of dilute HNO3? and what equillibrium has been disturbed? would you expect lead chloride to dissolve in dilute HNO3? Explain
