A cell carrying out work normally produces CO2. The harder a cell works, such as during exercise, the more CO2 it produces. CO2 is carried in the blood according to the following equation: CO2 + H2OD H2CO3D H+ + HCO3-. Based on this equation, explain what effect this hard work by your muscle cells will have on the pH of the blood.
