Dynamic capability is the ability to change and manage corporate learning. It allows an enterprise to adapt, develop and respond to future opportunities and discontinuous technologies. Innovation normally results in changing routines. It is believed that a lack of dynamic capabilities and not managing learning in an enterprise could be costly for the future of an enterprise. Examine the following with respect to managing these dynamic capabilities.

1. Examine management factors affecting innovation success or failures. Give examples.

2. Compare the process of managing innovation project with a standard development project. Give examples of each management process.

3. Explain what a Dynamic Capability is and how it could be used by management to extend the organization's abilities. Give examples of organizations that successfully responded to change through their dynamic abilities.
