A golfer is playing in a golf tournament. On a par-3 hole there is a sign stating, if you make a hole-in-one you win a free car. People are all around watching golfers take the shot to win the free car. One golfer finally makes the shot and everyone on the course seeing the shot be made.

After the golfer makes the hole-in-one, does the golf course really need to award him the free car? What if the golf course refuses to award the golfer with the prize (free car)? What can the golfer do in order to make sure he gets whatever price he deserves for making the hole-in-one? If a lawsuit is going to be made who would the golfer put it on, the golf course or the car dealership with the free car?

Also- could you please help explain what hole-in-one insurance is and how that works? Does that play a role in awarding the golfer with the hole-in-one prize if he makes the shot?
