A two-tablet sample of a vitamin/mineral supplement weighing 6.08 g was wet-ashed to eliminate organic matter, complexed with a highly colored ligand, and then diluted to 1.00 L volume. Two 10.00 mL aliquots were then analyzed. Calculte the average weight of iron in each tablet, based on the following information:

[Reagent Volume, mL] [Absorbance]

Fe(III), 1.00ppm Ligand H2O

0.00 25.00 15.00 0.492

15.00 25.00 0.00 0.571
