You work in HR for a catering company that provides both food and wait servers to large events like corporate meetings, weddings and arts events. It has been very difficult to maintain a regular team of staff in both the cooking side and the serving side of the business. Whenever there is a separation (i.e. whenever someone leaves the company regardless of the reason), you do an exit interview and/or report to understand why the separation happened. You know that in the last 6 months there have been 5 cases of voluntary turnover and 3 cases of involuntary turnover.
