The company that I have researched is The City of Guelph located in Guelph, Ontario. The company is the largest employer in Guelph, employing almost 2,000 people across numerous departments.

Within the company, the vision and values are to be trustworthy, honest, ethical, to provide outstanding community-based services, to be inclusive, flexible and resilient, and to be a learning organization. As a result, they are working towards creating a local economy that is creative, smart, connected to regional and global markets and promotes shared prosperity for all. The City of Guelph also aims toward a more sustainable future by strengthening transportation connections, by fostering a workplace that promotes talent development, collaboration, and making strategic investments that nurture social well-being, provide landmark beauty, and offer a safe place where everyone belongs.

The City of Guelph is dedicated to ensuring that the values of its employees align with its own. Their value is to build a city that is inclusive, connected, and prosperous, where everyone takes care of each other and the environment. The mission of the company is to find employees who will work together to provide responsible and responsive public service to the city's growing and diverse population.

The City of Guelph provides services to Guelph and its residents. The people of Guelph are the center of their attention, as they strive to make the city a safer and more environmentally friendly place to live. The more they cater to the people, the better it will be for the entire community.

It was interesting to learn how inclusive the City of Guelph is. The company employs many different types of individuals and is able to accommodate individuals with disabilities. Based on my research, I believe The City of Guelph to be a leading employer, with values that align with mine.
