Question: You will need to use ChatGPT to do the final exam. If you have problems accessing it, call the HELP desk or go to a computer lab on campus for help.
Step 1: Think up a question or problem that you believe ChatGPT will not be able to satisfactorily answer or solve.
Step 2: Predict how ChatGPT will answer or solve your question or problem.
Step 3: Explain very carefully why ChatGPT answered or solved your question or problem in the way that you predicted it would.
Step 4: Pose your question or problem to ChatGPT.
Step 5: Analyze the data--analyze the answer or solution that ChatGPT gives to your question or problem.
Step 6: (a) If ChatGPT satisfactorily answered or solved your question or problem, explain where your explanation in step 3 went wrong and explain why ChatGPT satisfactorily answered or solved your question or problem.
(b) If ChatGPT does not satisfactorily answer or solve your question or problem, but responds differently than you predicted in step 2, explain where your explanation in step 3 goes wrong and provide a new explanation of why ChatGPt responded as it did.
(c) If ChatGPT does not satisfactorily answer or solve your question or problem, and does so just as you predicted it would in step 2, go to the refrigerator and reward yourself with a pint of delicious ice cream.
NOTES--read carefully
1. ChatGPT has guardrails that prevent it from responding to certain kinds of questions/problems. For example, it will not respond to the question: How can I kill my aunt? Nor to the question: How can I build a small bomb? DO NOT ASK ChatGPT about morally terrible matters (how to kill, hurt, harm others), nor ask it how to build things that will kill, hurt or harm others.
