You are an HR Generalist (HR + OHS) for a large unionized telecommunications company based in Ontario.  There are 5000 employees in total but the majority of the workers are call centre employees.  Provide detailed responses to the questions below.  Support your answers with a minimum of 5 peer-reviewed journal articles in your response.

  2. List and explain three controls an employer should put in place to minimize psychosocial hazards for employees who work from home. 
  3. A worker initiates a Stage 1 Work Refusal. The work refusal is based on concerns for the workers' health and safety - specifically because the employee has developed severe wrist and arm pain over the past year.  The worker believes that working from their kitchen table is the cause of their wrist/arm pain and blames the employer for not assisting with purchasing a suitable at home work station. How can this work refusal be resolved? Which parties should be involved to resolve this work refusal?
