Consumers today are holding brands more accountable, voting with their wallets should a brand not deliver upon its promises. To that point, Ross Plummer, managing director of RidleyScott Creative Group in Amsterdam believes that agencies and brands must have a meaningful purpose behind their integrated marketing communications that focuses on advocacy and social causes. Brands without purpose will fail and more than likely meet the ire of the consumers. What do you think about Plummer's point of view?
