1.Define the work-related injury requirement and the elements required for the employee to recover for a worker's compensation claim. Provide examples to illustrate each of the elements. Is it ever possible for an employee with a preexisting diseased condition that is aggravated by employment able to recover under worker's compensation?

2.Beginning in 1990, Sam Sheldon worked for independent contractors at an oil refinery owned by British Petroleum (BP). In 2010, when Sheldon applied for a job directly with BP, the company's physical examination revealed he had a liver condition, the cause identified as Hepatitis C. BP's doctors said that the condition would be exacerbated by continued exposure to toxins at the refinery. In response to BP's request that the refinery reassign Sheldon to a job without exposure to toxins or remove him, the contractor employing him laid him off. What elements would Sheldon need to prove that BP violated the Title I of the ADA and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA) of 2008? Are there any defenses available to BP under the Act?
