Choose one among the three following research themes and, in groups of maximum five students generate a ten-pages report discussing your answer. Theme 1

Conduct at least five interviews with UAE-based HR Managers regarding the following items:
• Their recruitment and selection strategy
• Their performance management and compensation strategy
• Their training and development strategy
• How they measure the performance of the HRM systems.

Based on what you learned in this course, say what do you think of these strategies? What are their limitations and how they can be improved?

Theme 2

Explain the way effective HRM practices help improve the employee satisfaction and development and increase the performance of the organization.

Theme 3

Select any organization operating in UAE and demonstrate how a HRM professional can setup fundamental Human resource principles and practices that enable the company to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage.
