2.3 mol of Helium at 20'C and 5.0 atm are allowed to expand reversibly and adiabatically until the pressure reaches 1.0 atm. Determine ΔSsys separately for the volume and temperature changes and show that ΔSsys=0 for a reversible adiabatic process. Also, if the expansion had instead occurred irreversibly against a constant external pressure of 1 atm, now what are ΔSsys, ΔSsur and ΔSuniv? Can someone please help?
