A tensile test is performed on a specimen of some metal alloy, and it is found that a true plastic strain of 0.15 is produced when a true stress of 291 MPa is applied; for this alloy, the value of the strain hardening exponent is 0.3. On the basis of these data what true plastic strain would be expected for a total true plastic stress of 326 MPa?
