Assignment:

Miesha and Jake have three children together, Melissa who is 16 years old and Josh who is 13 and 2-year-old Mikhail. The couple has been married for 17 years and during the first 10 years, the marriage was harmonious. They were happy and they were loving parents to Melissa. They would play games together as a family and went on many outings. However, the family dynamic started to change after Jake lost his job. There were frequent arguments and family time became less. The couple has recently separated and lives apart due to infidelity by Jake. Jake is in a new relationship and is expecting a son. Miesha has primary custody of the children and only sees Jake on some weekends. Since the separation, Miesha has been overwhelmed and has less time to spend with her children. She looks sad a lot of the time and struggles to carry out her role as a mother.

Melissa appears to be coping as she is independent and can take care of herself, Josh has been getting into trouble at school and Mikhail seems to be having more tantrums. During the tantrums, Miesha gets frustrated and will shout at her and seem impatient. Miesha still tries to carry out her role as a mom even though she is tired. She would ensure they have meals and go to bed on time.
