The course introduces learners to the theories and principles of entrepreneurship and provides skills in setting up and managing information business.

Course Objectives:

The course is designed to enable learners acquire entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to cope with the changing information industry business requirements.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, learners should be able to:

1. Explain the theories and principles of entrepreneurship

2. Identify business opportunities and markets for information products and services

3. Explain how to set up and manage a business in the LIS sector

4. Appreciation of information industry as a business
