Assignment: Human Trafficking
Your Human Trafficking Course Project will focus on human trafficking in the global marketplace. The project is comprised of three parts and will result in a narrated PowerPoint that will be submitted.
Instructions
Select the most recent Trafficking in Persons Report: Trafficking in Persons Report.
Select and review the page titled "How to read a country narrative" from the table of contents. Then go to the "Tier Placements and Regional Maps" page.
For your project, you will select one country each from the following categories:
• Tier 1
• Tier 2
• Tier 2 Watch-list
• Tier 3.
Begin building your PowerPoint by creating a separate slide for each of the four chosen countries. The following parameters should be met for each country's slide:

1) Description of tier:
a) Describe what the specific tier signifies (ex., What benchmarks must be met for a country to be designated a Tier 1 country)
2) Description of labor:
a) Explain whether sex trafficking, labor trafficking, or both occur for the country. Provide your explanation as to why that type of trafficking is most prevalent in each country.
b) For each of your selected countries, identify and explain the specific jobs that victims of human trafficking from this country are subjected to.
