Question: Read these requirements thoroughly!
Each week we participate in a class discussion that requires a minimum of three postings on three separate days. Your first post is due no later than Wednesday at 11:59 PM.
Prepare an initial researched and cited discussion post early in the week about the topic that you choose and follow with at least two more researched and cited replies to other class members, your instructor, or another unique topic that has not been covered and interests you. All three posts must meet the same requirements:
GOOD STUFF: • You can choose any topic from any chapter that is covered this week that interests or excites you.
• It must provide a clear thesis statement (the topic you will discuss) that goes beyond the basic material already covered in the text.
• It must be at least 150 words or more.
• It must be clear and concise.
• You must properly introduce ALL acronyms prior to first use (example: Random Access Memory (RAM)). From then on you may simply use the acronym.
• It must be researched from one or more reliable sources (no older than 3-5 years, less is better) from the Internet and then properly sourced and cited in your post.
• It must use clear grammar and sentence structure, not use slang, and it must stand alone in its content (i.e. no one should have to refer to outside content to understand it).
BAD STUFF
• You may not use the text as a source. Everyone already has that basic information. The purpose is to elevate the learning experience by going deeper into the topic.
• You may not use sites like Wikipedia, or any dictionary or definition sites (WhatIs, for example).
• You may NOT repeat any information that has already been covered in the discussion except in a minimal summary form at the beginning of your post for context.
First word Document: Explain the solutions for securing a wireless network
Second Word Document: Explain how network technologies can enhance security
Third Word Document: Networking-Based Attacks
