Case Scenario: Your manager was pleased with the work you did in your contract role, and as a result, you've been permanently hired! Nice job! The organization is known for investing in its employees by providing new employees with a well-rounded view of the company in their first year of employment. As a new employee, you'll have the chance to select two functional areas within the company for which you would like to intern for three months each.

Question: For this assignment, you will:

  • Revisit the company website you chose for the Week 4 assignment. (Rush University Medical Center Hospital)
  • Select three functional areas, two you would like to intern in and one area that does not align with your current skillset and would require you to grow your skills. You will end up selecting which area would be the best fit for an internship.
  • Make a 3-4 page essay in which you explain the responsibilities and purposes of each of the two selected functional areas for internship as well as the area for skill growth.
