Fisherprice website is accurate. Also, you can search for toys according to different milestones. Under each toy, there is a description of what that particular toy does and how it helps with development. I chose the age groups of 0-6 months and 6-12 months.

For the age group of 0-6 months a baby's vision is starting to develop, they should be reaching for toys and sitting up should be supported. (HSS,2021). One toy the website recommends is the Fisher price kick and play deluxe sit me-up. I think this is appropriate for this age range. This toy promotes Perceptual development, by providing the extra support your baby needs to sit up and explore while sitting. This toy provides stimulation to their senses by playing music and providing a piano for them to kick.

For the age group of 6-12 months, we should be encouraging hand eye coordination and promote crawling (HSS,2021). A recommended toy for this age group is the Fisher Price laugh and learn toddler sports activity center. I also think this toy is age appropriate as it also promotes perceptual development. It promotes hand eye coordination by letting them remove fake food form the concession stand, throw a basketball. There are buttons that light up and play music as well. This also comes in Peaces and can be spread out to encourage crawling.
