Each group will present their policy as if they are advocating for, against, or are neutral, to a legislative body or policy maker at the local, state, or federal level (please specify). Each group will have at least 5 minutes, but no more than 10 mins to present each member's position.
Group members will take turns presenting their unique position on the policy. Each group member will be evaluated based on the criteria in the attached rubric.
Your group presentation will be followed by a brief question and answer session for the group. The expectation is that each group member is well-versed in the policy and their individual position, such that the group can critically think through the tough questions that may arise from your peers or your instructor and respond competently. Your peers will provide you with feedback on your presentation that will not impact your grade, but is intended to aid in your learning, presentation skills (development and delivery), as well as your gifts of persuasion and policy advocacy.

2) What population benefitted
3) What population did not benefit or adversely impacted
4) The federal, state, or local context of the policy
5) Describe the tangible aspects of the policy
6) Present your position; are you in favor, opposed, or neutral?
7) Discuss your position using the literature as evidence and explain what you would change or what you appreciate most about the policy and why.
Your paper needs to be between 4 to 7 pages long, formatted according to APA style with double spacing and 12-point Times New Roman font. It should demonstrate correct grammar, punctuation, and adherence to APA guidelines. Your writing should uphold the highest standards of grammatical precision in Standard English. Additionally, ensure your paper effectively incorporates APA citation guidelines, with an adequate number of citations to support your ideas.
