Case study: Sally is a 7-year-old girl who has been admitted to your ward today to undergo surgery for the removal of her appendix. She has a medical history of Coeliacs disease and Atopic dermatitis (eczema). When you introduce yourself to her, she seems small in stature and behaves younger than her age.
