Case Study: E.D., who is 66 years old, has a medical history that includes tobacco and alcohol abuse, hypertension, atherosclerosis of the aorta, and unhealthy alcohol use disorder. Patient resides in an assisted living facility. The patient has progressive anemia, adult failure to thrive, unspecified protein calorie malnutrition, unspecified disease of pancreas and exhibits muscle weakness.
