Mr. Robert Herrera is a patient in your office and is scheduled for a panoramic xray. He is relieved when the receptionist tells him that he will not need to have films placed in his mouth. However, he will need 4 bite-wing radiographs as well, after the panoramic radiograph. How you will explain the need for supplemental films? What can you say to this patient to understand that your intention is not to hurt him, but you will need these 4 films. Think about your experience in the lab as well....
