You work for a Technology company that has seen business really take off as Companies shifted to a remote work model during the pandemic and required more Technology assistance for their remote employees. The workload is huge, and Technology is a 24/7 industry because of different time-zones around the globe and could need assistance at any time of day or night. 80% of your Company's workforce is based out of the United States.

The Company is now seeing a lot of turnover and most employees state that the reason for leaving is Stress and Compensation. But you also believe that the External Environment, especially the current labor market conditions, are a main driver of turnover as well.

  1. What would be a major retention strategy that you would implement in this Company? You already provide remote work and flexible hours.
  2. How can you boost retention for new hires who have just joined the Company and are seeing other people leave, even if they are not thinking of leaving?
  3. For the employees who are still working but might be thinking of leaving, what are some indicators HR can use to identify that a current employee is close to resigning? Provide at least 2.
