Case Study: Human Resource Training and Development (HR T&D) is an essential function in any organization that aims to achieve success and growth. The objective of this assignment is to provide students with an understanding of the importance of human resource training and development in an organization and the different methods used for employee development.

This assignment will critically review the best practices of HR T&D and their importance in the organization's success.

This Assignment can be done individually or in groups of max 2 people.

Questions:

  • Conduct research on human resource training and development in organizations. Use academic journals, books, and reliable online sources to gather information.
  • Explain the Importance of HR T&D in Organizations and the benefits of HR T&D to employees and organizations. (Minimum 200 words)
  • Evaluate the importance of performance management in employee development. Discuss the role of performance appraisals, feedback, and goal-setting in employee development. (Minimum 300 words)
  • Identify and explain three (3) different types of training and development methods used by organizations, this can include: on-the-job training, classroom training, e-learning, coaching, mentoring, and job rotation. (Minimum 200 words)
  • Using the information from question two, create a comparison table and analyze the Advantage and disadvantage of each of the three (3) different types of training and development methods you chose.
  • Develop a training plan for restaurant supervisor role in an organization. Identify the job role and explain the purpose of the training plan. Outline the training methods, duration, and expected outcomes.
  • Research and explain the role of technology in HR T&D and its impact on training.
