In an original essay, synthesize and write a response to both articles by Fabj and Sobnosky (1995 and 2002). Please read the 2002 article BEFORE you read the 1995 article and discuss them in that order. The paper should reflect a critical reading of the texts and your reaction.

1) Make sure to identify the key arguments/relevant concepts in the the readings. Identify the three spheres of argument and explain the hierarchies described by Fabj and Sobnosky. Then look at the strategies of redefinition and translation as used by AIDS activists to argue across spheres.
