An excess of zinc metal is added to 50.0mL of a 0.100 M AgNO3solution in a constant-pressure calorimeter (styrofoam cup). As aresult of the reaction

Zn(s) + 2Ag+(aq) --> Zn2+(aq) + 2Ag(s)

the temperature rises from 19.25C to 22.17C. If the heat capacityof the calorimeter is 98.6J/C, calculate the enthalpy change forthe above reaction on a molar basis. Assume that the density andspecific heat of the solution are the same as those for water, andignore the specific heats of the metals.
