Explain the fundamentals of forensic science as used in fire investigations.

Define and explain the scientific method, along with the seven basic steps utilized in the systematic approach.

The seven steps are -

1) Recognized the need

2)define the problem

3)collect data

4) analyze the date(inductive reasoning)

5)develop a working hypothesis

6) test the working hypothesis (inductive reasoning)

7) select the final hypothesis(expert conclusion or opinion)
