Group Assignment - to be posted to the "Assignment" folder
Post your security portion of the proposal to the "Assignment" folder.
Project Directions
Purpose
You must expand on your project proposal and add your security provisions and policies and approaches for reliability to your proposal. Be thorough. You should include, but are not limited to:
---The plan for handling payment security, international customers, returns, non-paying customers, etc.
---Identification of security methods and technologies to be implemented, identify possible security holes.
---A disaster plan & identification of security priorities.
---Analysis of reliability priorities.
---Technologies and methods to provide reliable service to the customer base.
---Policies for maintaining customer trust without sacrificing business viability.
As with the other sections, you must be prepared to illustrate why your ideas are desirable and worthy of consideration by a potential investor, business management, etc. Thus, you should clearly state WHAT you are planning to do, HOW you plan to do it and with WHAT technologies, approaches, etc. Once you have done that, you must show HOW this supports the success of your project.
You do not need to worry about technology integration at this point. While we have already worked on the products and marketing, you may find that you will want to make some modifications to that portion of the proposal as you learn more in this seminar. Feel free to do so as you see fit. While that is not the focus of this seminar, it will certainly be reviewed in Seminar 8 with the final version of your product.
How to do this
The process for this week is the same as for Seminar 3 and 4. The lead for this week posts a draft by day 3. The team members discuss and provide feedback by day 6. The lead finalizes the section and submits it to the assignment folder by day 7.
Evaluation
Explain The focus of evaluation is on your understanding of the concepts covered during this seminar of the course. Otherwise, this will be done as in prior weeks. See attached rubric.
