An element X forms compounds XI3 and XCl3. The first compound reacts with chlorine according to the following reaction:
2XI3 + 3Cl2?2XCl3 + 3I2

After mixing 500mg of XI3 with sufficient Cl2, 236mg of XCl3 are obtained. This represents 100% yield of that reaction. Determine the identity of element X.
