WRV, a partnership company, is engaged in the business of the export of garments. In the past, the performance of the company had been up to the expectations. The company decided to upgrade its machinery in line with the latest technology. For this, the Finance Manager, Albert estimated the amount of money required and the timings. This will help the company in linking the investment and the financing decisions continuously. Albert began with the preparation of a cash forecast for the next four years. By doing this, he wanted to know about the amount of available funds from the internal sources of the business, as the available funds are not sufficient to finance this new investment, he is trying to find alternative sources for the remaining funds needed.
