Using the items that make up a science class magnet (wire, a nail, and a small dry cell battery) as examples, explain the factors that affect the strength of a magnet.
•Your goal is to make the strongest magnet possible. Using the science class magnet materials again, describe what changes you would make to the magnet construction to make the magnet as strong as possible while keeping the assembly as small as possible.
•Include the advantages and disadvantages of the changes you recommend.
