Select any 2 listed companies from there and do an analysis based on the following by using at least 3 or more years of data (2020 to be the latest) for your trend analysis:

a) Argue systematically either supporting or rejecting the point of view (statement given above) by presenting your evidence based on literature and case examples. (This should form the introduction, background, and literature review of the assignment)

b) For each of the firms that you have chosen, examine their performance based on their investment spending, product expansion, share prices and branding. (Trend analysis could be done using graphical methods - Pre COVID, during COVID and in the 'new normal').

c) Thoroughly explain the extent of the effect of the pandemic on the organizational structure of the chosen corporation.

d) Elaborate on the relief/flexibility packages that are being provided to the company post COVID 19 and till date by the financier's and the relief packages provided by the government.

e) With the available equity in the firms, project on how long it can sustain the corporation given that the economy would not improve anytime soon until international borders reopen.

f) Examine the actions that has been taken by the Corporation in aligning the corporate culture with the strategies being used to improve business processes for the selected firms that are being affected by the pandemic.

g) Assuming yourself as a director of a corporation, propose steps that you would use to sustain the business given sudden disruptions arising from a pandemic or a natural disaster.
