7. Discuss institutional racism in the housing system, economic system, health care system, and educational system. What are some solutions to institutional racism?

8. How were the needs of black women during the 19th century movement for gender equality different from those of white women? What does Landry mean when she states that for these women, "race and gender are inseparable"? What was the significance of the "clubs" for these black women?

9. Read the box on "Racial Guinea Pigs and Medical Mistrust" and describe the history of racial and ethnic minorities being subjected to medical experiments. Then, discuss how this history is impacting communities of color during the COVID-19 pandemic.
