The difference between PCC and chromic anhydride. are they the same reagents? how are they different? what is the mechanism like? does the oxygen on the substrate attach the chromium in both cases? how exactly does the water form, i know that the H came from the alcohol and OH from PCC, but how does the arrow pushing work?
