3. We are just passed the 21st anniversary of September 11th. There is significant amount of research available about the impact September 11th had on civil liberties in the United States. The post 9/11 world is much different in terms of civil liberties than the pre 9/11 world, and as time goes on more people do not have a frame of reference to the pre 9/11 world.
