Question: Many employees sign mandatory arbitration agreements in employment contracts. Courts usually uphold these clauses. Imagine that you signed a contract with an arbitration agreement, that the company later mistreated you, and that you could not sue in court. Would you be upset or relieved to go through arbitration rather than litigation? In answering this question, first explain the difference between arbitration and litigation, including the pros and cons. Then give your conclusion as to which you think you would prefer and why.
