In order to maintain professionalism when emailing, you need to have excellent email etiquette. The two least major impacts email has had on interpersonal communication is that you don't know if the person is actually listening or not to your previous reply and you don't know if the person will have decent communication skills if they are not in person. The advantges email has had through jobs has been more of a pro then a con and here is why.

Through email communication you can plan job interveiws even if you miss a phone call. This has been a very helpful tool for jobs to constantly have non verbal communication through new employers.

Some disadvanteges through email would be that some communication can be lacking compared to where if you are in a actual job interveiw you will see all the flaws or benefits this person has.

Common email mistakes are as the video suggests sending reply all, adding email addresses last, and responding promptly. These mistakes are easy to fix by constantly going through the email throughly.
