For a Diels-Alder Lab I'm asked to "Provide a rationale for the correct product for this reaction". Not sure exactly what the professor is looking for with this question.

We reacted 1.78g of Anthracene, 25mL of Xylene and 0.98g of Maleic anhydride and refluxed.
