Explain the concept of backward scheduling and give examples of how you use backward scheduling in your personal life. Backward planning is the process of determining where each of the varied production processes starts so supplies, components and assemblies can be ordered to arrive in a logical manner to assemble the final goods which will then meet delivery schedules. As individuals, we know our daily lives are filled with deadlines, goals and milestones. We must mentally apply a logical sequence of events in our schedules to ensure we meet those pre-set events.
