Analysts report that people are living longer globally and with regional or national differences. In the United States, many factors contribute to increases in the number of the elderly.

Your supervisor asks you to share your views with colleagues on aging trends in the United States. Assignment Details Prepare an 8-slide PowerPoint presentation that you will present to your supervisor and colleagues.

Address the following: Define elderly and explain the classification of the elderly. Present graphic information that highlights global trends on age, gender, and geographic distribution in different countries.

For the United States, show trends based on the following: Age Age by race Gender Marital status Current health status Income and sources of income Diversity Explain how understanding the trends you listed helps formulate policies and planning programs for the elderly in the country.

Every referenced item must have a corresponding in- in body citations.
