We have been assuming that the change in U at a constant T is 0; for this problem, do a derivation that provesdu/dp)T =0 for a perfect gas in a closed system.

Hint: Start with dU = TdS - PdV . Quickly, you will come to a derivative of entropy; to get rid of it to answer the question, use a Maxwell relation.
