Question: A family is checking out of their room late in the afternoon, they mention that they have had a lovely time during their stay. They request their room account to look over and settle before handing in their room keys. Upon inspecting their room account there are a number of items that the guests are disputing. First, as hotel silver members they thought that the accommodation costs was going to be discounted by 50% for their stay and also that a late checkout was FOC (free of charge) You look up their silver membership benefits, you find that actually only a 20% discount applies, which you are happy to apply, and the Free late checkout only applies for gold members. Explain the best solution (outcome) for this complaint?
