In this assignment, discuss the qualifications required for people to become a juror, how jurors are select, the purpose of voir dire, how voir dire is conducted and the challenges that may be made by both defense and prosecution as to whether a juror may be dismissed.

If you were a defense attorney and your client was on trial for first degree murder and the death penalty was a possible sanction, what concerns would you be addressing during jury selection? Briefly explain your answer.
