This discussion board is meant to practice applying the perspectives we learned and also to share with other students which perspective you prefer. I would like you try to explain why students procrastinate their college work (and wait to turn in work last minute) using one of the perspectives from chapter 1. So don't just give your opinion ('they procrastinate because they are lazy' is not enough explanation), but explain the behavior as the perspectives would do. Also include why you chose that perspective over the other ones. Clearly name the perspective you are applying.

Example: Students procrastinate because they learned in high school that there is no consequence for procrastinating work, so it became a learned habit = behavioral perspective. The reason why I prefer this perspective is because I believe that we are creatures of habit formed by rewards and punishment. (this is actually NOT my preferred perspective, but it is a clear example).
